Dear Esteemed Colleagues, Healthcare Professionals, and Friends,
On behalf of the Malaysian Family Medicine Specialists’ Association (FMSA) and the Organizing Committee of the 27th Family Medicine Scientific Conference (FMSC) 2025, it is my utmost pleasure to extend a warm welcome to all of you to this highly anticipated and prestigious annual event.
We are honoured that the Family Medicine Specialists of Kedah have been entrusted with the responsibility of organizing this year’s scientific conference, and we are committed to delivering an enriching and memorable experience to all delegates. The 27th FMSC 2025 will be held from 28th to 30th August 2025 at the Setia SPICE Convention Centre, Penang, with a pre-conference event on 27th August 2025 at the Amari Hotel, Penang.
This year’s theme, “Back to Basics, In Sync with Innovations,” reflects our dedication to revisiting the core principles of family medicine pertaining to patient-centred care, holistic treatment approach, and effective communication while embracing the transformative power of innovation. As healthcare professionals, we must strike a balance between preserving the fundamental values of our practice and integrating cutting-edge advancements, evidence-based techniques, and technological breakthroughs to enhance patient outcomes.
The FMSC 2025 promises to be a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and professional growth. With an expected attendance of 1,000 to 1,200 participants, including family medicine specialists, specialists from other fields, public health professionals, medical officers, allied health officers, paramedics, and other healthcare practitioners from across Malaysia, this conference will foster meaningful discussions and inspire innovative solutions to the challenges we face in healthcare today.
The scientific program has been meticulously curated to address a wide range of topics, ensuring that each symposium session is both relevant and impactful. We are confident that the insights gained from this conference will empower you to deliver exceptional care to your patients and communities.
