REGISTRATION TERMS & CONDITION FOR 26TH FMS SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE 2024

This registration agreement shall be governed by and construed by the law of Malaysia. You are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions when you proceed with the registration process. The organizer maintains the right to remove, add or modify the Terms and Conditions as set out with or without notice.

1.0 Modes of Registration
All registration processes are made online via official FMSC webpage.

  1. Registrant without any sponsorship shall use the online form at the official FMSC webpage to proceed with the registration.
  2. Registrant with any private company sponsorship shall use the online form at the official FMSC webpage and the registration shall be made by the sponsor. The delegate needs to communicate with the sponsor regarding payment and registration confirmation.
  3. Government-sponsored registrants who pay by Local Order (LO) do not need to use the online form at the official FMSC webpage; instead, registration will be made by the FMSC registration team. Delegates must interact with the paying office regarding the LO payment confirmation, and once accepted, delegates must email a copy of the LO to fmscreg2024@gmail.com by June 30th, 2024 for registration confirmation.
  4. International registrant from outside Malaysia shall use the online form at the official FMSC webpage. The payment shall be made using the online payment gateway provided, and should any problem regarding payment arises, the delegate is responsible to contact us at fmscreg2024@gmail.com for assistance.
  5. On-site registration is only acceptable if the number of delegates does not
    exceed maximum limit (1000pax). Updates will be provided to the FMSC official website.

1.1 Registration Reminder
Registration using LO payment will be closed on 30th June 2024. Registrant using LO payment needs to send a copy of the LO in PDF format no later than July 15th , 2024 via email.

Registered delegates will receive a confirmation email generated by the system with an e-ticket & QR code. Please show the e-ticket & QR code at the Registration Desk on the event day for fast tracking of registration

2.0 Currency & Mode of Payment
All transactions in Ringgit Malaysia (RM/MYR) will be accepted. International registrants may proceed with payment in RM/MYR at the stated price. The price stated may change based on the latest MYR/USD conversion rate on the day of payment.

All payments must be made via online service at the official FMSC webpage except for registrant who is sponsored by the government using LO payment or company-sponsored delegate(large groups). The company-sponsored delegate and the government-sponsored delegate using LO, however can opt to pay using payment gateway if they choose to use pay-and-claim sponsorship basis. Any on-site cash payment will not be entertained.

If you are making payment via telegraphic transfers, bank charges are to be borne by the delegate. All payments must be made to the following account:

Credit Cards: We accept all major credit cards including Visa and MasterCard. There is no surcharge for Visa or Mastercard transactions while using the payment gateway. Please provide the exact billing address and phone number with which you registered your credit card bank.

Incorrect information may cause a delay in processing your order. Your credit card will be billed as soon as your order is placed. This is done to protect the security of your credit card details, as we do not store your card details at any point (except in the case of recurring orders, where you credit card details will be stored by our third-party service provider.

In the event that we cannot fulfill your registration due to some technical problems while using your credit card, please notify us at fmscreg2024@gmail.com.We will contact you and do further arrangements under your consent with priority to make a refund back to your credit card. These refunds may take several business days up to 30days to appear on your statement.

e-Wallet: We accepts eWallet. Registration are processed upon receipt of money from eWallet including Boost, Grab Wallet, Maybank QRPay, Mcash, Touchngo Wallet. Your eWallet will be billed as soon as your registration is placed.

In the event that we cannot fulfill your registration due to some technical problems using your ewallet, please notify us at fmscreg2024@gmail.com.We will contact you and do further arrangements under your consent with priority to make a refund back to your e-wallet. These refunds may take several business days up to 30days to appear on your statement.

3.0 Cancellation Policy
Cancellation & Refund Policy

Any cancellation of registration should be communicated in writing to FMSC Registration Secretariat via email to: fmscreg2024@gmail.com and will be subject to the following conditions:

Cancellation received ON or BEFORE 31TH JULY 2024
Refund of the registration fee minus an administrative charge of RM350 for local delegates and USD100 for international delegates. All refunds will be processed after the congress.

Cancellation received AFTER 31TH JULY 2024
No refund will be made. Nevertheless, a substitute delegate will be most welcome (kindly refer to the Name Change / Substitution’ clause below for further information)

No refund will be made.

Name Change / Substitution
All registrations are only valid for the respective person mentioned in the Registration Form. A registered delegate unable to attend the conference may nominate (free of charge) a substitute delegate by notifying in writing to the Registration Secretariat by 15th August 2024 with complete information as required in the online registration form.

3.1 Substitution
If a delegate is unable to attend the conference, the delegate may request a substitution in writing via email to fmscreg2024@gmail.com up to 1 month (1st August 2024) before the conference date. Any substitution beyond the deadline will not be entertained and the delegate may proceed with cancellation.

4.0 Event Postponement
The organizer is not responsible for any loss or damage as a result of substitution, alteration, postponement, or cancellation of the event due to causes beyond its control including without limitation, acts of God or public enemies, civil war, insurrection or riot, fire, flood, explosion, earthquake, sabotage, accident, change of law, strike, labor trouble or work interruption, terrorism, or any cause beyond its reasonable control.

Should the conference be postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather, strikes, hostilities, wars, terrorist acts, acts of nature or other such causes, the organizer will transfer the delegate’s registration fee to the new date of the conference.

5.0 Admittance & Disclaimer
At the organizer`s sole discretion, without refund, the organizer reserves the right to refuse admittance or to expel from the conference anyone who the organizer determines is behaving in a manner that could be disruptive to the conference or any other attendee.
If the delegate intends to arrive late for the conference for any reason or owing to any unforeseen circumstances, please notify the registration secretariat in advance at fmscreg2024@gmail.com so that we can assist you appropriately.

All data obtained by the organizer is held and used in compliance with the law of Malaysia for the purpose of this conference.
The views expressed by any conference attendee, speaker, exhibitor, or sponsor are not necessarily those of the organizer. All conference attendees, speakers, exhibitors, and sponsors are solely responsible for the content of any and all individual or corporation presentations, marketing collateral, advertising, and online web content.

* Fees stated above exclude Government taxes, levies or charges. Any taxes, levies or charges which may be introduced & subjected in accordance with Malaysian Government Legislation will be additional to the prices quoted.

7.0 Certification and post- conference feedback
All certificate will be given after completion of post-conference feedback form. Certificate will be given via online through the registered email.
