Immerse yourself in a transformative half-day workshop that focuses on the practical skills of evidence-based Motivational Interviewing in the realm of weight management, aligned with the newly launched 2nd edition of the Malaysian Clinical Practice Guideline for Obesity Management. Join us in exploring the path toward fostering sustainable lifestyle changes through empathetic and empowering guidance. Participants will develop a comprehensive understanding of client engagement techniques, fostering intrinsic motivation, and cultivating more sustainable behavioural changes. Furthermore, attendees will acquire in-depth knowledge and practical skills in various behavioural strategies, including setting smart goals, problem-solving, controlling stimuli, restructuring thoughts, self-management, and preventing relapse. This workshop aims to provide a holistic toolkit not only for weight management but also for encouraging various behavioural transformations required in lifestyle management.

WORKSHOP 2: CONNECTING THE …. FOR MEN’S SEXUAL HEALTH
Join us on our interactive workshop which would highlight on issues related to Male Sexual and Reproductive Health. WORKSHOP 3: SKIN SYMPHONY: A DERMATOLOGY DISCOVERY
Welcome to an engaging Dermatology workshop designed to delve into the fascinating world of skin health and care. There would be an introduction on dermatoscope where participations can learn more about its function and have an opportunity for hands-on session on how to use dermatoscope to examine skin lesions. It is a valuable tool for skin cancer screening, diagnosis of skin lesions, monitoring lesion changes over time and differentiating benign and malignant skin lesions. Besides that, there will be sessions to learn about wet wrap therapy for eczema, the difference between lotion, cream and ointment and the proper way of applying emollients & topical corticosteroids (fingertip unit). Participants would also be taught on skin paring for warts, calluses and corn, which are commonly encountered in primary care setting. Let’s embark on the Dermatology journey with our workshop, specially designed for primary healthcare professionals!
